Mrs. Krantz's Weekly Newsletter

This week we will learn the routine of the classroom, get to know the space, get to know one another and our names, enjoy many of the things your preschoolers listed on their index cards at orientation and overall begin to grow the bonds and relationships that form in preschool.  Our first priority is to get the first building block of education in place, feeling safe and secure!
Your preschoolers will learn about opening circle, helper jobs, how we line up, when we play outside, what snack time will be like and when/where we wash hands.  They will discover all the options our classroom has to offer, begin to recognize/spell/write his or her own name.

We will also experience our worship time together through singing, prayer and Bible discovery.  Your preschooler will learn how we end our mornings together with a closing activity and a blessing with a hug or a handshake from Mrs. Barrington and myself.

It’s going to be a wonderful first week of discovery, bonding and finding ownership in our space. Blessings to you this week!

Mrs. O'Loughlin's Weekly Newsletter

The first day is here! Mrs. Eld and I are bubbling over with excitement to begin the school year with your fantastic preschooler.

This week we will focus on getting to know our new surroundings, our new friends, and our new routine. Games, songs, and a lot of exploring will help preschool become like a second home to us all.

Our daily worship time will begin with talking about how Jesus is our friend!

A large paper will be coming home on Friday. This will be used to create an “All About Me” poster. Feel free to include photos, drawings, magazine cutouts, words...anything that will help tell how special your preschooler is. Please look at this as a fun project for you and your preschooler to do together. We will share these with the class next Wednesday.  I am looking forward to a wonderful year!

Mrs. Wilson's Weekly Newsletter

Hello Preschool families!  Welcome to the first week of school.  We really enjoyed meeting everyone last week.  It was a great thing to see everyone together in the classroom.  What a super bunch of people all in one place!  We are so excited to get started and spend time in the classroom with you this year.  The first week will be all about STARTING SCHOOL.  We will spend plenty of time exploring the classroom and learning what it is like to enjoy being a preschooler.  We will learn about our job chart as we begin to practice taking care of our classroom and helping out the team!  There are plenty of things to discover during centers time and on the playground.  Best of all, we will begin to learn about each other and how God made us each very special (even more on that next week)!
