Yes, the preschoolers came into the classroom today to blooming paperwhites! What JOY! Each preschooler took a turn smelling the blossoms and we made a tally chart of those who thought they smelled good and of those who thought they smelled bad. The good won! It will be wonderful to watch more blooms emerge over the nest few days.
Today was cooking with Grandma Karen and we made apple muffins. Each preschooler helped measure part of the ingredients and then the put "snow" on top of their very own muffin using powdered sugar and a sifter. They topped it off with a cute snowflake toothpick. Our feast time was delicious.
Chapel time with Pastor Dudley was wonderful as we were able to sing for him and teach him our three new Bible verse songs. He also talked about saying thank you to God for each new day!
With the outside being extra icy we stayed inside with our balancing river stones, tunnels, pop up houses, monster feet, basketball hoop and beanbag toss. We had a great time!
